My Story

I’m a yoga teacher with over 8 years of teaching experience, specialising in supporting women through the many phases of life — physically, emotionally, and energetically.

My own journey with yoga didn’t begin with instant love. In my twenties, I tried a well-known celebrity yoga DVD, driven purely by the promise of aesthetic results, and quickly decided yoga wasn’t for me. I didn’t fit with where I was in my life.

Everything changed during my pregnancy with my daughter, Aria. I returned to yoga for very different reasons — to bond with my baby, stay healthy, and feel strong and supported through pregnancy. From there, my relationship with yoga continued to evolve. Today, my practice is rooted in connection: connection to myself, my body, and my inner world. Yoga is no longer about how I look, but about how I feel, how I grow, and how I care for myself.

This personal journey shapes how I teach. My classes are especially welcoming for women who think they don’t like yoga, don’t need yoga, or feel yoga “isn’t for them” — whether that’s because they don’t feel flexible, slim, confident, or experienced enough. I believe yoga is for real bodies, real lives, and real stages of womanhood.

My 250-hour training focused on supporting women through key life phases, including first menstruation, pregnancy, postnatal recovery, and menopause. I also hold a 200-hour Vinyasa Chakra Yoga Flow qualification, 15 hours of breathwork training through YogaBody, and 40 hours of Trauma-Informed Yoga training, allowing me to offer classes that are both empowering and safe.

Alongside yoga, I’m trained in Reiki Levels 1 and 2, Indian Head Massage, Thai Foot Massage, and Natural Lift Face Massage, bringing a holistic and nurturing approach to my work. I continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing training, including Sadie Nardini’s Yoga Shred course, and meditation and somatic yoga training with My Vinyasa Practice.

I offer two distinct class styles:

Tranquil classes are Hatha-based and gentle flow inspired, focusing on grounding, mobility, breath, and nervous system support.

Warrior classes are Vinyasa flow inspired and are evolving to include elements of my Yoga Shred training, with optional light weights and gentle HIIT-style cardio. These classes are designed to support strength, bone health, and cardiovascular fitness — helping women age well while still honouring their bodies.

At the heart of my teaching is the belief that yoga is a form of self-care, not self-judgement. My aim is to help women feel comfortable, capable, and connected — often discovering that yoga was exactly what they needed, even if they never thought they’d enjoy it.
