I joined MBS yoga about a year and a half ago. I was recovering from several traumatic losses at the time, and needed to find connection with others and myself. The classes were so warm and welcoming, and the yoga and meditation helped me to relax and re-balance.

Since then I have been to several MBS workshops, which have been amazing, and have had quite a few treatments at the Healing Haven with Vicki, which are heavenly. Vicki and Grant are a fantastic couple and have created a wonderful community.

It's not just about the yoga. I feel part of a supportive, nurturing community that has helped me so much on my healing journey.

After a lot of recent weight gain, I really lack confidence and walking into a class on my own is my worst nightmare! However since I have returned to classes I have never had to worry about feeling self conscious and it has given me the confidence to join other fitness classes. I am a full member and I have found the online classes a fantastic way to fit yoga in around classes.It is now something that I have incorporated into my daily routine, and I am already noticing the benefits again. I love that the routines are varied so it doesn’t become boring and each routine is a full body workout.

Grant has been fantastic in helping with the IT side of things and I am now able to use my TV to stream instead of the iPad which has been massively helpful. I love the fact that the whole family gets involved and you feel part of something even if only attending a weekly class.

I started MB&S Yoga in august 2022 I sure if I would find my place but willing to give it a go. Never been to yoga before and was welcomed from the first session realising quickly that no one was checking to make you try harder , push more or do better. At one’s own pace, with calm and clear instruction and options for a lighter less stretch alternative based not on performance but on how you are feeling in that moment.
So relaxing to be taught in an adult fashion without fear of failure or not fitting in. I’ve found each class rewarding , relaxing , inclusive and welcoming. I keep going back each week for my ‘me time’ and thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere. Dimmed lights, soft music and movement that is within reach / stretch depending on your ability. Highly recommend these classes

I was a bit nervous before my first class, I'm not very fit (And even less flexible!) but I needn't have worried. All the poses were broken down into stages so it was easy to feel a sense of accomplishment, even after the first class. It was very relaxing, the guided mediation at the end is a perfect way to finish
